Dr Ho Fai (Jacky) Po is a research associate in Mathematics at Aston University and his research interests are mainly about the interdisciplinary applications of statistical physics and optimizations. NEU-ChiP is a novel project that can bring huge impacts to biological machine learning and neural science. He is very excited to be a member of the team.

Research Associate in Mathematics
Dr Ho Fai (Jacky) Po received his BSc in Mathematics and Economics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology(2012), MSc in Mathematics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2014), and PhD from The Education University of Hong Kong (2021). He now join the Aston University as a research associate working on the Neu-Chip project. His research interests include Statistical Physics, Complex Networks, Combinatorial Optimization, Transportation Systems, Self-Organized Criticality(SOC) systems, Neural Networks, Machine Learning and Bayesian Inferences. NEU-Chip is a ground breaking interdisciplinary project and he is very excited to be involved and working with scientists and experts in different areas.
